This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, how we use them on the Euro Intermed websites and platform widget, and how you can manage them. It complements the Privacy Policy, which describes in full how we process personal data.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Together with similar technologies — such as localStorage, sessionStorage or session identifiers — they allow the site to work, remember your preferences and, with your consent, measure traffic.
2. How we use cookies and local storage
We use a minimal set of cookies and local storage. Some are strictly necessary for the site to work and to remember your choices; others, such as analytics, are activated only after you give your consent through the consent banner.
3. Categories of cookies
Strictly necessary / functional. These are required for the basic operation of the site and to remember your preferences. They do not require separate consent. They include, for example:
- your theme preference (light/dark), stored locally on your device;
- your language preference (Romanian/English), stored to keep you in your chosen language;
- your cookie-consent choice, so we don’t ask again on every visit;
- technical cookies set by our hosting/CDN provider for security and correct page delivery.
Analytics. These help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used (pages visited, traffic) so we can improve it. We use them only through Google Analytics and only if you accept in the cookie banner (Consent Mode). If you decline, these cookies are not activated.
Marketing / advertising. We currently do not use advertising or marketing-tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
4. Third-party cookies
When you accept analytics, Google (Google Analytics) may set its own cookies (for example _ga, _ga_*) to distinguish visitors and sessions. Google’s processing is also governed by Google’s own policies. Our hosting and CDN providers may set strictly necessary cookies for security and performance.
5. Consent and management
On your first visit we show a banner where you can accept or reject cookies that are not strictly necessary. Your choice is remembered, and you can change it at any time by clearing cookies in your browser (which will make the banner reappear) or by contacting us. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled from the banner, because the site would not work correctly without them.
6. How to control cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to manage cookies from the settings / privacy section. Note that blocking certain cookies may affect how the site works.
7. How long they are kept
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies (such as preferences or analytics) remain for a limited period, proportionate to their purpose, or until you delete them. The record of your consent choice is kept for as long as necessary to demonstrate compliance and to respect your choice.
8. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect technical, legislative or operational changes. The updated version and the date of the last revision will be published on this page.
9. Contact
For questions about cookies or about the processing of your data, you can contact us at eurointermeds@gmail.com or at 0765934455. See also the Privacy Policy.
